Hayden is the eldest brother so after the death of his father he feels burdened not only by looking after his brother but becoming the majority shareholder of Four Fathers. He is further conflicted as he believes that Trevor, his father’s best friend and the other owner of the company, is hiding things and he wants all the secrets exposed. As a result, he is rude to everyone and hard to like.

Katie first met Hayden when her best friend, Trevor’s wife, ended up in the hospital and they had an instant connection. She loves him deeply but after being with him for a year she couldn’t she was left trying to pick up the pieces.

She has returned to town to visit her friend but dealing with Hayden is even harder than she imagined. Throw in some secrets and suspense you will find that this story takes you on a wild ride.
