Title: Roughing the Kicker
Series: Sinners and Saints #1
Author: Eden Butler
Genre: Contemporary Romance

Reese Noble chased this dream for a decade.

Now it was here.

The NFL.

A pro career.

All eyes on the league’s new kicker.

Millions of people expecting her to fail.

But Reese wasn’t a novelty and the spot she landed on the New Orleans Steamers was one she planned to keep.

With her teammates giving her hell and the world doubting her every move, Reese will have to fight harder than anyone else to make her dream a reality.

Even if that means following the lead of Quarterback Ryder Glenn —the only man who brought her to the edge of ecstasy and the depths of heartbreak. The same man who broke her heart ten years before.

In this city, there is a thin line between sin and sainthood and only the strongest can walk it.

“Y’all….this book has everything….hot sweaty football players, kick ass strong ass women, Nola and romance.” – Jennifer Holt

“The writing was absolutely incredible, the emotions and feelings so real and relatable. I can see myself reading this book over and over again.” – Ashley Wilburn

“Eden Butler take a bow!……This story is full of so many emotions animosity, grief, elation, mistrust, fear, jealousy and guilt, so prepare for one almighty roller coaster ride.” – Reading is Our Satisfaction

Eden Butler is an editor and writer of Mystery, Suspense and Contemporary Romance novels and the nine-times great-granddaughter of an honest-to-God English pirate. This could explain her affinity for rule breaking and rum.
When she’s not writing or wondering about her possibly Jack Sparrowesque ancestor, Eden patiently waits for her Hogwarts letter, edits, reads and spends way too much time watching rugby, Doctor Who and New Orleans Saints football.

She is currently living under teenage rule alongside her husband in southeast Louisiana.

Reese has had to work harder than anyone else to become a member of the New Orleans Steamer and the first female NFL player. She already has to prove to her teammates that she deserves to be on the team but the fact that the team captain and quarterback have a history that didn’t end well is only making the situation more difficult.

The deep love that Ryder felt for Reese ten years ago has turned into a hate that runs even deeper. He blames her for what happened all those years ago and is not about to listen to any explanations let alone forgive her. He will accept her being on the team but that doesn’t mean they have to be friends or even talk to each other.

Full of emotion, drama and angst this is a story about second chances. They must decide if the reward of being together and recapturing the love they once shared is worth the risk of opening up the past and all the pain that it brings. I would love to see more stories centered around the secondary players and this team.
