Review

Hale has spent his entire life trying to overcome the opinions of other. He has built a successful company and career in finance however a scandal is threatening everything he has worked so hard to achieve.

Becca and Hale share a past. They began as friends, but their relationship evolved into something much deeper until the night it all came crashing down and neither have full recovered. She has forged a success career in public relations so even though they haven’t been together for 10 years when she finds out what has happened she is determined to help him weather the storm.

I really enjoyed these two characters as although their family issues were quite different they have both managed to overcome them. The connection between them is stronger than ever but in order for them to have a second chance at love the wounds of the past must first be exposed and then healed.
