Gage and Lauren were high school sweethearts until she ended their relationship with little explanation and he was devastated. He left Blue Beech and headed to Chicago to escape the memories and the pain. Ten years later he has returned to town due to his father’s health, but he is no longer the same man and doesn’t talk about his life while he was away.

Lauren broke both their hearts when she ended their relationship. From the moment they see each other again their chemistry and connection is stronger than ever, but the secrets of the past still stand between them and until they are dealt with they can never truly be together.

I really enjoyed Lauren’s feisty personality and although Gage may act like he hates Lauren but what he really wants is answers as he has never stopped loving her. Full of emotion, drama and heat I enjoyed seeing Gage and Lauren finally get their second chance at love.
