Jace did not have an easy childhood as he was raised in home that required him to be the provider and responsible when he should have been able to enjoy the activities of children. Between the trouble at home and school he feels beaten down until Faith enters his life. Where he is dark she is light, and she makes him believe that he is better than his circumstances. They have dreams for their future but it all comes crashing down and he realizes she deserves so much better than him, so he ends their relationship leaving both of them devastated.
Ten years later Faith is reeling from the recent circumstances in her life and the only good thing in her life is her daughter Bailey. Jace is now a successful businessman but when he finds out Faith’s situation he will do anything to help her and her daughter as he has never stopped loving her. Faith is scared of history repeating itself and there are a lot of secrets in the past that need to be revealed so that they can finally uncover the truth.
This is an emotional story of a second chance at love between a man who never felt he was good enough for his Beauty and a woman who never saw the man she loved as a Beast.
