Review

Drew is a professional hockey player who finds himself weighed down by the expectations of others and guilt from his past. He now finds himself dreading being on the ice whether in a game or in practice and doesn’t know how to get out of the situation that he now finds himself in.

Marina was a Olympia medal figure skater until her life destructed and rather than being the golden girl she found herself an outcast. Every day since then she felt a physical ache at not being able to skate, but she is getting a new beginning with the Sockeyes and doesn’t want to do anything that could jeopardize it.

From the moment they meet they have an instant connection and try to keep their relationship strictly professional. Their pasts bring them closer, but will their careers tear them apart?

These two are perfect for each other. Drew shows Marina that she is not alone or defined by her past mistakes while Marina helps Drew determine his own dreams not the dreams of someone else. This is a wonderful addition to the Sockeye’s series.
