About Ashley Hastings
Ashley Hastings lives with a menagerie of animals, and one day aspires to be a crazy, old cat lady. She has a starter set of three cats right now. Ashley likes to take long walks each day while she dreams about what her characters will do in the future, and is already hard at work on her next novel.
Millicent has endured a terrible incident in her past that changed the whole course of her life. It has made her stronger but hesitant to let others close let alone trust them. The one bright light in her life is her daughter Ivy and they are hoping that her new job will change their fortunes.
Maxwell is her new boss and from the moment he meets Millicent and Ivy he knows that they are meant to be together as a family however they must both be willing to open up and let the other know their secrets.
I really enjoyed these characters. Maxwell is so intriguing while Millicent’s strength shines through.
