Review
Laura works for the Indianapolis Eagles and although her father is the GM she received the job on her own merits. When it comes to her job she knows what needs to be done and has the confidence to ensure that it does get done. Personally she is still trying to heal from her divorce and the effect it has had on her emotionally and she knows that she needs to reclaim the woman she was before her divorce before she can consider getting involved with another man.
Mark is the newest member of the hockey team and from the moment he meets Laura he is drawn to her. He knows that she is not ready for a relationship, so he is willing to be a friend and give her the time she needs to heal. He is no longer interested in one night stands and he knows that Laura is worth waiting for.
This is an emotionally sweet and sexy story about healing and second chances. I loved how Mark was willing to give Laura time and didn’t push her into something she wasn’t ready for. These two are perfect together as they support each other through the ups and downs that life brings. I am looking forward to more of this series.
