We had the pleasure of meeting Rhett in Stud In the Stacks as he is Parker’s brother. He is a Navy SEAL who finds himself on desk duty after his last mission counting down the moments until he can be deployed again.
Eloise is a drummer of the all girl band featuring Sia, Parker and Willow who we met in previous books. She also has extreme hacking skills and has made it her mission to try and expose those that use the internet for evil rather than good.
She and Rhett end up sharing a steamy evening after Parker’s wedding. When she catches the attention of the wrong person on the internet, she finds herself in danger with Rhett and his SEAL buddy as her protectors.
I loved these characters. Eloise may appear confident but underneath she doesn’t know what Rhett sees in her and is surprised by the effect she has on people. Rhett is her alpha protector and sees the woman she is not just the image she portrays. With humorous banter that will have you laughing out loud, steamy times that require a fan as well as a unique storyline this is a book you don’t want to miss.
