Review:

Brooke may be 24 but she is running away from her career she never wanted and a family who treats her as commodity. She has never had to be independent, so she finds herself stuck at a gas station until fate intervenes and Cole enters her life.

Cole has left the military but trying to escape his past has proven a little more difficult. He is on his way to Oregon to visit a friend when he stops at a gas station and meets Brooke. His innate need to protect won’t allow him to leave her there alone so she becomes his companion on his road trip.

This is a story about two people who would never have met under normal circumstances that start out running away and instead found something to run to.
