A new standalone hockey romance from USA Today bestseller Sarina Bowen
Everyone knows the girl is off limits. But it’s so good to be bad.
There’s this girl…
Heidi and I have been trading hungry looks all year, and everything she does makes me smile. But I don’t do girlfriends, and I certainly can’t get involved with the league commissioner’s daughter. I need shots on goal, not a hookup and a widely misunderstood paparazzi photo.
Can I resist her, though? The way she teases me should be a game penalty for interference with my libido.
There’s this guy…
Jason wants me, but he won’t admit it. That man looks at me the way a hockey player eyes the lunch buffet after practice–and I love it.
But when victory is finally within my grasp, I blow it and humiliate myself. Even then I can’t even avoid him–as the team intern, I’m in constant view of his hard body and cocky smile.
I need another chance. Jason Castro is about to learn the true meaning of an overnight sensation.

Jason is a defenseman with the Brooklyn Bruisers who is coming off a breakout season however because of that the team has high expectations for the upcoming season and he is also moving to a new position. The last thing he needs is to be distracted by Heidi, the beautiful intern and the Commissioners daughter.
Heidi has always done what her father expected of her but that is coming to an end. She doesn’t want to return to school so she ends up interning for the Brooklyn Bruisers however her father is doing everything in his power to make it as difficult as possible. To further complicate matters she wants to have the night with Jason that she was supposed to have until it went horribly sideways even if her father has warned her away from hockey players.
I really enjoyed these two together. They are both trying to find their place as he is struggling on the team and she is trying to stand on her own and they find a kindred soul and support system in the other. Heidy is fierce and determined while Jason hides a painful past but together they are magic.
Humorous banter, hot chemistry, great characters and emotion are all rolled into a sweet romance that hits the mark.
