With her mother gone it is up to Journey and her siblings to not only manage company but to protect it from the biggest threat to them all, her estranged father Elliott. They know firsthand the kind of man their father is, and they have managed to distance themselves from him but now he is back with a vengeance. All the feelings that he raised in her are back so she goes to Frank, the one man she thinks can help.

Frank is a successful and powerful man who is best friend’s with Journey’s cousin Beckett but there is no love lost between him and the rest of the Kings. When Journey approaches him for help he knows that he should say no but there is something about her that won’t let him.

Working together to uncover the reason behind her father’s reappearance brings them closer and there is no doubting the chemistry between them, but will they be able to open up and trust each other?

I really enjoyed these two together. Journey shows her strength as she faces her past while even though Frank only wants to protect her, he realizes that helping her face her past is what she really needs. I am looking forward to more of the King family.
