I had it all.
Dream job, fancy apartment, great family.
But there was one thing I didn’t have.
Would never have.
Then he showed up.
He came to me with an ultimatum, and I had no choice but to agree. I needed to convince the world that I was Nathaniel Harrington’s girlfriend so his legacy would stay intact.
Spending time with him would be difficult.
And fooling the world would be even harder.
But persuading my heart into thinking that his kisses meant nothing and that his gentle touches were all in my head, would be impossible.
I was falling for him.
But fate had other plans.
Our time was limited.
Because I knew the truth.
A truth that would end us.

Ava Harrison is a USA Today and Amazon bestselling author.
When she’s not journaling her life, you can find her window shopping, cooking dinner for her family, or curled up on her couch reading a book.

Nathanial is a 30 year old playboy who has never grown up. He lives a privileged lifestyle filled with women and parties until he finds out that the lifestyle he loves could mean that he won’t inherit the family business. He is determined to prove that he is worthy to be heir and the first step is buying the company of which Madeline is the CEO and taking it to new heights.

Madeline has worked hard to get her company to where it is and the last thing she wants is a spoiled plaboy coming in to cause havoc. She comes across as cold and unfeeling but that is not who she is, and she keeps her struggles well hidden. A fake relationship between her and Nathaniel seems like the solution to both their problems but the best of intentions sometimes have repercussions.

I really enjoyed the characters as Madeline is so much stronger than she thinks while Nathaniel wants to be a better man because of her. This is a friends to enemies story filled with hot chemistry, humorous banter and twists that you won’t be able to put down.
