Review
Professionally Ellie’s life was going well but personally was another matter. Her long term boyfriend dumped her on Christmas Eve and she ends up seeking comfort in the arms of the last man she expected, her brother’s best friend Wyatt. She and Wyatt have struck sparks of animosity between them since they were kids but they both needed to forget their problems for a while, and they found that in each other.
Wyatt is enough to make you swoon as not only is he in the military, but he is also a single father. Due to distance that the lives from his son he is looking forward to spending the summer with his son and that includes spending some time at his best friend’s house in Shipwreck for the pirate festival.
Unknown to the other Ellie is in town spending some time at her brother’s house for her best friend’s wedding. Not wanting her ex to see that she is single she has arranged for her friend to escort her to the wedding but Wyatt ensures that he is her plus one and that is when the fun really begins!
The imagination of this author never fails to amaze me. What more could you ask for hilarious antics, hot chemistry and pirates all rolled up into a perfect story. This is a great start to a new series, and I can’t wait for the next one.
