He is the one that never looks her way.

He is handsome and strong.

He is rough around the edges and mean.

He is everything she’s ever wanted.

He doesn’t even know she exists.

Her life is a joke.

***

She doesn’t step on cracks in the sidewalk.

She laughs at inappropriate times.

She talks when she shouldn’t.

She is clumsy and trips on air.

She is finally on his radar.

God help her now.

🏈Review🏈

All through high school and college Ezra was the popular athlete who every girl wanted to be with and ever guy wanted to be. He never lacks for adoration or attention even now that he is the high school coach rather than the star athlete.

Raleigh is his complete opposite as she is a klutzy clumsy accident waiting to happen. She lives a quite life, keeps to herself and has admired Ezra from afar even though he has never even noticed her during school or the fact that she is a fellow teacher.

When she literally falls at his feet, she attracts his attention in a big way and now he can’t stop thinking about the girl he never saw before. He finds her clumsiness endearing and wants to protect her, even if it is from herself, and that is when the suspense part of the story kicks in.

Although I was unsure about her basically putting her life on hold as she pined for Ezra it fit the story and when he finally noticed her, he was enough to make you swoon.
