Review
Deacon is at a crossroads in his life as he decides what direction his future will take after retiring from the air force after twenty five years of service. He never expected that attending a costume party and experiencing the chemistry that he felt for his brother’s employee Violet would give him the direction he was seeking.
After being married for twenty years Violet finds herself single and her children are now adults. Reacquainting herself with dating has not been as smooth a transition as she would have liked but getting involved with Deacon, her boss’s brother, is definitely not a good idea.
She is looking for a relationship while he is looking for right now but there is no denying the chemistry between them. Now that Deacon has gotten close to her he wants more but convincing her is not so easy.
Sweet and sexy Deacon and Violet are perfect for each other. The sparks between them are electric, the banter humorous and the secondary characters were a great addition to the story.
