When it came to their childhoods Aubrey and Grant couldn’t have been more different. He was raised by his single mother but he always knew he was loved whereas Aubrey was raised in a wealthy family that were more concerned with appearances than anything else. They fell in love when they were college and were happily married until tragedy struck and Grant wanted to comfort Aubrey, but her upbringing wouldn’t let her accept it. After constantly being turned away he saw no other option other than divorce.
A year later Aubrey need to go home for her Grandma’s birthday, but her family doesn’t know that she and Grant are no longer together. Not only does she need Grant to come with her, but she is afraid of flying so they will need to spend hours together in the confines of a car. This will either be their chance to heal from their past or break their hearts once again.
When Aubrey and Grant separated it was not because they didn’t love each other. The chemistry and connection between them is stronger than ever but it will take a lot of patience and determination on Grant’s part to convince Aubrey that not only do they belong together but she is perfect as she is.
