Jezebel is a successful author whose celebrity status has attracted the attention of the wrong person and she is now being stalked and she finds that instead of writing a story she could be the one the story is written about. She needs security detail and decides that James is the man for the job.

James is ex-military and he is determined to deny the attraction that he feels for Jezebel as he is worried that it could impact his ability to protect her. Both Jezebel and James are complex and compelling characters with secrets from their pasts and I am looking forward to their continued story in Truth We Bear. This is my first story by this author, but I would definitely read her future stories.

James and Jezebel’s love for each other is tested but they are meant to be and show that they are much stronger together than apart.
