💚Review💚
It’s been five years since Maggie endured a traumatic assault in a place where she should have felt the safest. Unable to handle the aftereffects she left for Ireland a year and a half ago but has just returned to face her past.
Shane has been her best friend since they were in high school however his feelings run much deeper. He still carries guilt about what happened to her and will do anything to help her heal. When she asks him to help her confront her intimacy issues, he is more than up to the challenge and is determined to show her that they have always belonged together.
I really liked the growth that Maggie shows during the course of the story as she dealt with her past and Shane was so sweet, sexy and supportive as he helped her handle all the emotions that being back home, and in the place where the attack occurred.
