Excerpt:

Sierra woke up as the car turned off, the motor coming to a stop. She shook her head and looked around at the unfamiliar surroundings. Trees were visible outside the windows, and a glittering sign said Paradise Cove, and beneath it, A Couples Only Poconos Resort.

“You have got to be kidding me!” She glanced at Ryder in disbelief. “What the hell are we doing in the Poconos?” She’d obviously fallen asleep for a good two hours, the shock of the day along with the glass of champagne she’d had prior to the non-wedding catching up with her.

He treated her to his most charming grin. “You always said you wanted to honeymoon here. That it was romantic.”

“I was seventeen!” she yelled at him. “I didn’t know any better. And we aren’t on our honeymoon.” She glanced down at her white wedding gown, not missing the irony of the situation but in no mood to find it funny.

She and Jason were supposed to be on their way to St. Lucia tomorrow morning. Instead she was in the honeymoon capital of Pennsylvania. Her stomach cramped at the reminder of all she’d left behind earlier today. Although she’d texted Sebastian from Ryder’s phone, she hoped her brothers weren’t too worried about her. She’d left her own phone in the bridal room and couldn’t know whether Jason had tried to reach her or not. But her brothers knew she was with Ryder, and if Jason wanted her, he certainly could contact them and find out how to talk to her.

Instead she was in the Poconos with her ex.She looked at the man who’d driven her over one hundred miles from home and waited for an explanation.

He placed an arm behind her seat, turning to face her. “By the time I realized how far I’d driven, we were half an hour from here. I couldn’t think of anywhere else to crash. And I wasn’t about to turn around and drive another two hours home.”

She frowned at him. “So now what? You expect me to stay here with you?”

“Would it really be so bad?” he asked, his voice gentling. “I understand you’re angry with me, but we’re here. It’s late. Let’s just go inside and see if we can get a room.”

The very idea of it was crazy. Nothing good could come of her being alone with Ryder now, and she really shouldn’t have left with him. But it was too late to take her actions back now.

She blew out a resigned breath. “Fine. But I hope they have a gift shop,” she muttered, needing a change of clothes because nothing about this trip had been thought through.

She climbed out of the car and Ryder helped her gather the train and fold it up so she could hold it over one arm. Then together, they walked into the main area of the resort and headed to the reception desk.

“I assume you have a reservation?” the woman behind the counter asked, her gaze traveling over Ryder in his suit, Sierra in her white gown.

“Umm, no. But we’d like a room for a couple of days,” Ryder said with a smile.

“One night,” Sierra countered.

He frowned at her and the girl behind the desk looked confused. She typed something into the computer and glanced up at them. “Our honeymoon suite is booked and we only have suites, not rooms, but I’m sure you’ll love what’s available. All of our suites have round king-size beds beneath celestial ceilings, log-burning fireplaces, and heart-shaped tubs or champagne-glass-shaped whirlpool spas.”

Sierra felt her mouth drop open at the description. It was everything she’d seen in commercials as a young, love-struck girl dreaming of romance.

“I don’t think–”

“We’ll take one,” he said, cutting her off.

The clerk looked back and forth between them, a definite furrow between her eyebrows. “We can only offer you two nights. I’m sorry but we’re booked after that.”

Before she could utter another word, Ryder slid his credit card across the counter. “We’ll stay both nights. And the airline lost our luggage, so do you think you could hook us up with the basics?” he asked.

She was grateful he was thinking of everything, even if she was still annoyed with him. Besides, she was beyond uncomfortable in the wedding gown, and Sierra hoped the woman could help them.

The clerk’s gaze softened at the mention of missing suitcases. “That’s awful and frustrating. I’ll send up toiletries and amenities,” the woman said. “There are bathrobes in the rooms, and the gift shop and stores open tomorrow morning. You’ll be able to pick up more things to wear then.”

“Thank you,” Sierra said, appreciating the woman’s kindness.

“We’re grateful for anything you can do,” Ryder said.

He slipped a tip across the counter and the clerk glanced down and grinned at him. “Thank you. I’ll call housekeeping right now. In the meantime, here are your key cards. Breakfast and dinner are included. A continental breakfast is served in the room tomorrow. I’ll even throw in some parts of our honeymoon package,” she whispered to Ryder, making Sierra wonder how much money he’d given her.

No matter the amount, she had no intention of making use of their specialty package, she thought, exhaustion seeping into her bones despite her long nap. The day had been overwhelming and was definitely catching up with her.

She unwittingly sagged against him, and his arm immediately came out, wrapping around her, holding her for the first time in forever. It took all her willpower not to lean her head against him and let him take over.

“Come on, sweetheart. You look dead on your feet,” Ryder said, and taking her by surprise, he swept her into his arms.

Just like a real bride.

Title: Faking Ms. Right
Author: Claire Kingsley
Genre: Contemporary Rom/Com
Release Date: May 28, 2019

“When I kissed you last night, I wasn’t pretending.”

Everly Dalton is a walking, talking, martini-drinking dating disaster. Forget kissing frogs. She can’t even get past the first date. But at work, she’s a badass—the longest-running assistant billionaire Shepherd Calloway has ever had. Her coworkers wonder how she handles the big bad wolf—and never gets bit.

Shepherd Calloway isn’t interested in being anyone’s sugar daddy. Tired of women who only want him for his money, he swears off dating, determined to focus on running his empire. Until his gold-digging ex hits him where it hurts, putting him in a difficult position.

His solution—to have Everly pose as his live-in girlfriend—is obviously crazy. But the timing is uncanny. It just so happens Everly needs a favor from her boss—a big and awkward one—and this could ensure everyone gets what they want.

Besides, Everly can totally survive a few months of faux romance.

Except there’s a problem. Shepherd is supposed to be a single-minded, unemotional robot boss. Not an actual human with a heart and morning wood. Between the awkward bed-sharing and tingly fake dates, lines are blurring. And as Everly gets to know the real Shepherd, she discovers there’s more to the man behind the bank account.

And faking it gets all too real.

“This story was perfection from the very beginning and a MUST READ book! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this to anyone and everyone! Claire Kingsley had the perfect mix have laughs, steamy and romance.”
~ Amy [The Little Bookworm]

“Shepherd is one of the best male leads that I have read in a RomCom in a while. I am definitely swoony thinking about him after finishing the book. READ THIS RIGHT NOW– I highly recommend it and know that you will not be disappointed.” ~ Ga Books LoverX

“Shepard and Everly are two of the most fun, entertaining and charming couples I’ve ever read! Faking Ms. Right was full of hilarious moments, a chemistry that you could feel jump off the pages and sexy times that…well…lit my Kindle on FIRE!!” ~ Kim, Sultry Sirens Book Blog

“I laughed plenty, awed and even teared a little. This book has it all. I don’t know how I’ve went this long without reading Claire Kingsley but she has a new fan now!” ~ Read. Review. Repeat.

“Poor Shepherd thinks he is genetically cold and closed off. Sunshiney, happy Everly is there to help him save face by following his crazy scheme. She shows him that she can be trusted with his true self and helps him melt that cold exterior.” ~ Tracy, Book Cravers Blog

Heat, Heart, & Happily Ever After

Claire Kingsley writes sexy contemporary romance and romantic comedies. She loves sassy, quirky heroines, swoony heroes who love their women hard, panty-melting sexytimes, romantic happily ever afters, and lots of big feels.

She can’t imagine life without coffee, her Kindle, and the sexy heroes who inhabit her imagination. She’s living out her own happily ever after in the Pacific Northwest with her husband and three kids.

blog_review
Everly is outgoing and friendly and although she may not have had much luck when it came to men, she is happy with her life. She has her two best friends and a job that she not only loves but excels at. She is the executive assistant to a demanding, closed off man and holds the records for being able to work with him the longest, so that alone shows how patient and understanding she can be.

Shepherd is a man who is focused on his career first and women second. As a result, the type of women he attracts are beautiful, demanding and have a very limited best before date. The one constant in his life is his assistant so when he needs help of a personal nature who else would he turn to.

Shepherd needs a fake girlfriend to get rid of the last one that refuses to go away. He has never viewed Everly as a woman only as an employee so having her pretend to be his girlfriend and even live at his penthouse with him seems like the perfect solution. What could possibly go wrong?

What a fun story this turned out to be. The chemistry between them is hot, great secondary characters and that there is so much more layers to Shepherd than Everly imagined will have you hoping for their happy ever after.

Fine, she’s my business partner’s daughter. All right, I’m also working in the same damn practice with her. Yes, she happens to be my ex-fling. But that was seven years ago, and it was barely a week-long thing.

Except, Sloane is still the one I can’t stop thinking of — brilliant, sexy, captivating Sloane. Maybe a week of taking her to new heights will get her out of my head.

So what if we spend a few nights on the town too? So what if I romance her across Manhattan? It’s all in the name of scientific pursuit of more magnificent Os.

Written With Regret, the first in an all-new emotional duet from USA Today bestselling author Aly Martinez, is available now!

WW Regret FOR WEB

Every little girl dreams of the fairytale. The one where the white knight rushes in to save her from the clutches of evil. They fall in love, have babies, and live happily ever after.

By that definition, my life should have been a fairytale too.

When I was eight years old, Caven Hunt saved me from the worst kind of evil to walk the Earth. It didn’t matter that I was a kid. I fell in love with him all the same.

But that was where my fairytale ended.

Years later, a one-night stand during the darkest time imaginable gave us a little girl. It was nothing compared to the pitch black that consumed me when I was forced to leave her with Caven for good.

At the end of every fairytale, the happily-ever-after is the one thing that remains consistent. It wasn’t going to be mine, but there hadn’t been a night that passed where I hadn’t prayed that it would be hers.

I owed Caven my life.

However, I owed that innocent child more.

And that included ripping the heart from my chest and facing her father again.

Excerpt:

Life had never been easy for me. Chaos had been following me like a dark cloud, looming and hovering, casting its shadow far and wide despite how bright the path in front of me should have appeared. After growing up the way I had, where happiness had been more of a privilege than a choice, I knew better than to believe that that moment would be anything other than fleeting.

And one second later, the universe proved me right.

I opened the door to see who had rung the bell—a cursory check revealed an empty hallway.

And that’s when I heard it: the sound that changed not only my entire life in the present, but my life for all future days to come.

At first, it was just a grunt, but as if that baby could feel my gaze, the minute my eyes made contact, it let out a sharp cry.

Confusion hit me like a lightning bolt, sending me back a step. I used the door frame for balance as I took in the yellow blanket with a hole only big enough to reveal a pale-pink face.

“What the fuck?” I breathed. Glancing around the hall, I waited for someone to jump out and start laughing. When no one spoke up to issue a punchline, I took a step closer and repeated, “What the fuck?”

I was utterly unable to process the absurdity in front of me.

Of course, I knew the facts.

It was a baby.

On my doorstep.

Alone.

But the why in that equation was glaringly absent.

“Uhhh,” Ian drawled, peering over my shoulder. “Why is there a kid at your door?”

“I have no idea,” I replied, staring down at the squirming and now-screaming bundle. “It was just there when I opened the door.”

Ian shoved me to the side so he could stand beside me. “You’re shitting me, right?”

“Does it look like I’m shitting you?”

He looked from me to the baby, then back again. “How did it get there?”

We were two incredibly smart men who had created a technology empire out of nothing. But, clearly, a baby was too big for either of us to wrap our minds around.

I swept an arm out and pointed to the kid. “I have no clue, but I’m assuming it didn’t catch a cab.”

A light of understanding hit his eyes. He moved first, stepping over the crying baby and hurrying down the hall, searching around the corner near the elevator before returning alone.

The party continued behind me, but even with the door open, the loud chatter was no match for the ear-piecing cries happening in that hallway.

Veronica suddenly appeared beside me, her body going solid as she stammered out. “Is that…a baby?”

“Back up,” I urged, throwing my arm out to block her path as though the infant were going to suddenly morph into a rabid animal. And let’s be honest, I knew nothing about babies. Anything was possible.

Ian dropped to his knees, scooping up the wailing child. Meanwhile, I stood there like a gawking idiot, paralyzed by a weight I didn’t yet understand.

“Call the pol—” He stopped abruptly and reached into the top of the child’s blanket. “Oh shit,” he whispered, his wide, panic-filled eyes flashing to mine.

“What?” I asked, stepping toward him to get a better look at the kid. Only it wasn’t that tiny baby cradled in his arms that made my heart stop and bile rise in my throat.

There, in my best friend’s hand, was a folded piece of notebook paper that had been tucked into the child’s blanket. From the looks of it, the paper was unremarkable in every sense of the word. Blue lines, white spaces, hanging remnants from where it had been haphazardly ripped from a spiral bound notebook. Even the crease was crooked. But it was my name scrawled on the outside in messy, black ink that made it the most remarkable paper in existence.

I snatched it from his hand and, with blood roaring in my ears, opened it.

Caven,

I’m sorry. I never meant for this to happen. This is our daughter Keira. I’ll love her forever. Take care of her the way I can’t.

Written with regret,

Hadley

The hall began to spin, my head feeling like every ounce of blood had been drained from my body. The thundering in my ears faded and the loud chatter of my guests, who were suddenly aware that something was happening at the door, roared to life.

And then the chaos finally found me all over again—the past playing out in my head like my life flashing before my eyes.

I sucked in a deep breath and looked at the baby in his arms. The blanket had fallen off its head just enough to reveal a patch of fine hairs, more orange than its mother’s red.

“Call the police,” I declared, turning on a toe and walking back into my apartment, leaving Ian standing in the hall with Hadley’s child.

Shoving through the crowd of concerned onlookers, I headed straight to the bottles of liquor lining the counter. I didn’t bother with ice or even a glass. I threw back that bottle of vodka, hoping like hell the burn of the alcohol could numb the panic coursing through my veins.

Through it all, that baby never stopped crying.

🌠EXCERPT🌠

Tucking herself into a stall, Bonnie took several deep breaths. The space was too tiny to allow for pacing, so she turned in a tight circle, careful not to let her dress fall in the toilet. Why? Why did this have to happen now?

At any other time in her life, she’d have jumped at the opportunity. Teaching Shakespeare, even only for a few weeks, at a school like Cambridge would be a dream come true. But this summer was supposed to be the summer another dream finally came true. She was supposed to be planning her wedding, not running off to England for two months.

“No offense, but how much longer you gonna be in there?” An irate South Side accent demanded from the other side of the stall.

Is forever an option? But when South Side began pounding on the door, Bonnie knew she needed to get out of there. She flushed the toilet for appearance’s sake and opened the stall, coming face-to-face with an irritated- looking witch. Bonnie slipped past the girl, offering her an apologetic smile. Leaning against the wall, waiting in line, were two more witches, looking equally annoyed. “The Weird Sisters, huh?”

The girls glared at her. Right.

Before she found herself in double toil and trouble, Bon- nie washed her hands and made a hasty exit. She hurried through the restroom door, careening straight into a solid wall of suit-covered muscle. “Oof!” she exhaled, stumbling as her floral crown flopped down over her eyes and icy liquid splashed across her chest.

“Sorry!” a smooth male voice apologized, his British accent slicing the r’s into a crisp d sound.

Bonnie froze. She recognized that voice, knew that pol- ished British accent. Heart beating faster, Bonnie lifted her chin, trying to peek through the tangle of flowers cur- rently blinding her. Warm fingers brushed her forehead, and a moment later she could see . . . straight into a pair of familiar blue eyes fringed with sinfully long, sooty lashes.

“Theo!” she sputtered. “What are you doing here?” “At the moment?” He set his now-empty glass on a

passing server’s tray and reached up to adjust her crown, gently freeing a flower ensnarled in her mass of curls. “As- sisting you.” Theo grinned, twin dimples appearing in his cheeks.

A fluttering sensation tickled the backs of her knees, and she swayed.

“Are you quite all right?” he asked, holding her by the shoulders and steadying her.

“Me? I’m fine, totally fine,” she babbled, wishing she’d gone home when she’d had the chance. Why hadn’t Cassie mentioned Theo was coming tonight? She had to know he would be here; Logan was his best friend.

In fact, it was through Logan that Bonnie had met Theo in the first place while in London last summer, on a sup- per cruise along the Thames. It was a meeting she was un- likely to forget, even though she’d been trying very hard to do just that ever since. Tall, dark, and handsome, not to mention that accent, Theo embodied every Austen hero Bonnie had ever crushed on. And she’d crushed on several.

Meanwhile, her friend Ana, who’d also been on the sup- per cruise that night on the Thames, had christened Theo “Prince Eric.” It was an apt moniker. With his cap of thick black hair, soulful blue eyes, and easy smile, the Brit did look like the cartoon prince come to life.

“Who are you supposed to be?” Bonnie took a closer look at the get-up Theo was presently sporting and smiled. Maybe he wasn’t a prince, but he looked like someone noble . . . “A duke?”

He breathed in sharply. “Pardon?”

“Your costume.” She gestured at the formal sash and medallion decorating his chest. “I’m guessing Orsino, maybe? From Twelfth Night?”

“Oh, right. Orsino. Exactly.” He exhaled, shoulders vis- ibly relaxing beneath the tailored cut of his coat. “If music be the food of love . . .”

“Play on.” She finished the line, beaming up at him. Their eyes met, and just as she had last summer, Bonnie felt an irresistible pull. Well, not literally irresistible—she had managed to resist him, after all. Faithful to her fiancé, Bonnie might not be able to control how her body reacted to the dashing Brit, but she could control what she did about it. Which was nothing.

She pulled back, breaking their gaze and pushing an- other wayward curl out of her face. “Can you guess who I am?”

“Hmm,” he murmured, “I’d wager on Ophelia.” He looked her over slowly from floral-crowned head to slip- pered feet. “Going for the Millais version, I see.”

“Very good.” He knew Millais? Impressive. Cute and smart. Oh, her willpower was going to get a workout to night.

“You like Millais’s work?” He pulled a handkerchief from his pocket and offered it to her.

“No, I love his work. And Waterhouse too.” She sighed and accepted the handkerchief, dabbing at the alcohol soaking the bodice of her dress. A memory flashed through her. “I once tried to recreate his painting of The Lady of Shallot.”

“You paint?”

“No.” She laughed. “Not well, anyway. I acted it out. I’d read about a girl doing that in a book and wanted to give it a try.” It wasn’t the first or the last time Bonnie tried to copy a scene from Anne of Green Gables. She believed Anne Shirley to be her literary doppelgänger and cast her best friend, Cassie, as Anne’s bosom buddy, Diana Barry. Luckily, unlike the boat Anne borrows from Diana in the book, the inflatable raft Bonnie borrowed from Cassie hadn’t sprung a leak.

Theo shook his head. “What is it with you and watery tarts?”

“Are you quoting Monty Python at me?”

He pulled a serious face. “I’m simply concerned about your apparent obsession with strange women lying in ponds.”

She tittered. Oh God, she actually tittered. Bonnie winced. She dropped her gaze and dabbed harder at the dark stain spreading across the front of her dress. “The painting is so beautiful, so ethereal . . . even a copy of it in a book brings the magic of Tennyson’s poem to life. I wanted to live that magic.” She was rambling but couldn’t seem to stop. Her brain went on sabbatical whenever the Brit was near. That’s it, Ophelia, time to get thee to a nunnery.

“They are beautiful,” he murmured.

She glanced up to find him staring at her chest. “Excuse me?” Bonnie stopped dabbing. Was he talking

about her breasts?

“Did you see them at the Tate?” His blue eyes met hers, coal black brows arched with polite curiosity. “When you were in London last summer?”

The paintings. Right. She shook her head. “We did the Victoria and Albert Museum instead.”

“Shame.” He sounded truly disappointed. “There’s an- other Millais at the Tate, of a different Tennyson poem. Based on one of Shakespeare’s comedies. Do you know the one I mean?”

“Please,” she scoffed. “Is this a quiz? Mariana, from Measure for Measure.” She handed him back his handker- chief, now a little worse for wear. “Though I could never think of that play as a comedy.”

“The lady knows Shakespeare, poets, painters . . . and even Monty Python.” He blew a soft whistle. “My, you are quite cultured for an American.”

A hum of awareness threaded through her, and she tamped it down. “Are you complimenting me or insulting my country?”

He didn’t reply, but the corners of his mouth curled with amusement, one dimple coming out to play.

The backs of her knees immediately began to prickle again. Damn it. Why couldn’t the Brit have stayed on his side of the pond?

🌠REVIEW🌠

We originally met Bonnie and Theo in Getting Hot With the Scot as they are best friends with Cassie and Logan.   They had an instant chemistry however Bonnie was engaged to Gabe, the first boyfriend she ever had, and her loyalty was unwavering.    A year later Theo is in Chicago to celebrate their best friend’s engagement and his timing couldn’t have been better.

Bonnie has just found out that her loyalty to her fiancé was all one sided so when she has the opportunity to teach at Cambridge for the summer it seems like the getaway she needs and as a bonus she may just get to spend some time with Theo.    Their friendship evolved into friends with benefits and then something deeper, but Theo’s family has plans for his future and Bonnie is not part of them.

There was no denying the chemistry and connection between them, but not only do they need to deal with the aftermath of Bonnie’s failed relationship but also Theo’s battle between loyalty and love.   I have enjoyed this series and I am looking forward to Sadie’s story which is coming up next.

Alexander “Rush” Markov has been given an ultimatum by his team—shape up or ship out.

Alex is celebrating his biggest season in professional hockey, and he’s enjoying every minute of it—perhaps a little too much. He’s been non-stop partying like a rockstar since his team won it all, and management isn’t pleased. Next thing Alex knows, he’s been exiled to a remote island with orders to lay low, stay out of trouble, and avoid one-night stands.

Rosalind Newcomb is the quintessential good girl, and she’s fine with her role. Sure, she gets lonely and wishes for a special someone, but the choices on Madrona island are slim to none. When a panty-melting mystery man disrupts the peace and quiet in her bookstore, it’s dislike at first sight. The infuriating man turns her ordered life upside down and inside out and has her thinking about hot summer nights and tangled sheets. Only Alex isn’t who she thinks he is, and love isn’t all hearts and roses.

As Alex battles who he pretends to be and who he really is, he also resists falling in love for the first time in his life. His intense feelings have him ready to bolt, and only he can decide if love is worth fighting for.

I didn’t mean to kidnap the groom. It was an accident.

Mostly…

At least I didn’t take much time to plan it. It was more of a spur of the
moment kidnapping. Does that count?

One minute, the town’s bad boy is standing at the altar about to marry the
world’s most evil kindergarten teacher. The next, he’s passed out in my Vespa
sidecar with his bride hot on our tail.

But I didn’t have a choice! I couldn’t stand by and watch Jace O’Dell be
blackmailed into a loveless marriage. And besides, what’s a little kidnapping
between friends?

Okay, so maybe we’re not just friends…

And maybe I can’t quit thinking about that night at his bar when he closed up
early and had me on the rocks.

And maybe this crazy stunt is going to blow up in both of our faces.

If it does, I’m blaming the moonshine.

Even though the only thing I’m hammered on when it comes to Jace is
love—straight up, no chaser.

Review

We originally met Jace in Hosed, the first book of the series, as he is Ryan’s brother.   He is the sexy bar owner of The Wild Hog who has made his mistakes in the past but is a good man.    He has been involved in a on again/off again relationship with his girlfriend but during this last off period he has decided that it should be permanent.

Olivia is viewed by the town as being quirky and eccentric, but she is comfortable with who she is and she has Princess, her hedgehog, as company.   After a particularly stressful day she stop in for a drink or maybe a bottle and the chemistry that has been simmering between her and Jace finally ignites.

They have both decided that one night is not enough and they want to explore the feelings between him but his ex has other plans.   Before Jace knows what is happening Jace is about to become a groom until Olivia and Princess decide a kidnapping is in order.

I loved these two together as Olivia makes Jace want to be a better man but Olivia thinks that he is perfect for her just the way he is.   Fun times, humorous banter, great characters and hot chemistry all combine into a storyline that will keep you entertained until the last page.  I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Author Bio

Ruth Cardello hit the NYTs and USA Today for the first time back in 2012. Millions
of sales are evidence that her books are akin to potato chips, addictive from
the first one. She has created a multi-series billionaire world with a
combination of escapism and realism that has gained her a faithful following of
readers.
Ruth Cardello was born the youngest of 11 children in a small city in northern Rhode
Island. She spent her young adult years moving as far away as she could from
her large extended family. She lived in Boston, Paris, Orlando, New York–then
came full circle and moved back to New England. She now happily lives one town
over from the one she was born in. For her, family trumped the warmer weather
and international scene.

She was an educator for 20 years, the last 11 as a kindergarten teacher. When her school
district began cutting jobs, Ruth turned a serious eye toward her second love-
writing and has never been happier. When she’s not writing, you can find her
chasing her children around her small farm or connecting with her readers online.

Review

Nicolette is at a crossroads in her life as she is not sure where she belongs in her family or even if she belongs. She has returned home for her brother’s wedding and although she has had a few drinks too many she can’t deny her attraction to Bryant even if he is viewed as her family’s enemy.

When she receives a request to bring attention to a small town in Iowa and help them prosper her reasons for going is twofold as it will give her the space she needs and helping others in the process. The last thing she expected was for Bryant to follow her or that he may be the one person to help her heal and find her way back to her family.

Bryant is the perfect man for Nicolette as he is patient and understanding and it is only a matter of time before he not only convinces Nicolette that they belong together but her family as well. I have enjoyed this series and this book is no exception.
