We have met Darby in the previous stories in this series but now we finally get the chance to get to know him. He is the one that everyone goes to when they need help but he is closed off and doesn’t allow many people to infiltrate the barriers he has erected around himself and the only one to truly breach those walls is his son even though he was unexpected.

Olympia is the new bartender at the club, and she is the first woman to make him feel. Her sassy attitude may drive him crazy, but it also brings him to life. They are drawn to each other in a way that neither expected or wanted but they both must heal from their pasts if they are to have a future together.

Great characters, hot chemistry and all the feels all combine for a fitting end to this entertaining series. Not only do we get to watch Darby and Olympia’s relationship unfold but it was great to catch up with the Crimson Elite characters as well.
