Zara comes from a family of hockey stars from her father to her brother to her brother in-law and if there is one thing that it has shown her is that she doesn’t want that life for herself. Instead of brawn she has chosen brain but when she finds herself dumped and that he has moved on without a second thought she decides revenge is the cure to her broken heart.
Evan is a hockey star in his own right so when he receives a tweet from Zara asking him to crash her ex’s wedding with her, he figures what’s the harm of spending a fun evening with a beautiful woman. He doesn’t want the wedding to be an uncomfortable first date, so they decide to meet each other before the big day and that is when the fun really begins.
What a fun story this turned out to be. The combination of humor, heat and hockey made this story a winner for me. Zara is feisty and independent while Evan is the perfect mix of sweet and sexy and catching up with Zara’s family is always entertaining.
