To the outside world Liam appeared to be living a life that most people only dream of as he was a successful musician who is adored by fans. All he ever wanted was to create music but with all the pressure and stress in his life that has become impossible, so he goes to Sutter Lake to escape the negative attention that has taken over his life.
Tessa had barely escaped her past and she is on edge just waiting for it to catch up to her all the while knowing if that happens she won’t survive a second time. All she wants is peace and solitude as anyone who gets close to her would be in danger as well however Liam and the people in town are not about to let that happen.
From the moment that Liam meets Tessa he senses her wounded soul and is drawn to her. She helps to bring the music back to his life and he makes her feel safe but will the love that they have found be destroyed as both of their pasts start closing in?
These two together were magical to watch as not only did they complete each other but they helped to heal each other as well. Hot chemistry, emotion and suspense all combine into a beautiful romance you won’t soon forget.
