Sienna and Aiden are friends who are still dealing with the grief and guilt that remains when Allison, her best friend and his ex-girlfriend, took her own life. They wonder what they could have done differently to change the outcome and in each other they find solace and understanding but they are beginning to realize that it is not only Allison that is holding them together.
When Aiden rescues Allison from a brutal attack all the feelings that they have tried to keep under wraps come bubbling to the surface. Their hearts want each other but their heads say that it is wrong which causes the conflict and angst to ramp up. Will they be able to work through the emotions and pain and realize that Allison wouldn’t want them to live in the past and that their futures belong to each other?
This is a heartbreaking and heartwarming story about love, loss and healing. It was great to not only watch Sienna and Aiden’s relationship unfold but to catch up with all the other characters that we know and love.
