He was sent to guard her body… he didn’t expect her to steal his heart.

Her sister’s wedding was hardly the place to find a hook up, but after one look at friend-of-the-groom and special operative Josiah Grant, small-town Texas beauty Magnolia West immediately fell in lust. After a stunningly sensual night together, Maggie is prepared for the two of them to go their separate ways. After all, she’s not a happily-ever-after kind of girl. But Josiah—and danger—change her plans.

Josiah isn’t looking for love…but Maggie rouses his body and stirs his heart like no other woman. She’s got a rocky romantic past, and a smart man would steer clear. But when the murder quotient in Kendall County rises and all signs point to a mysterious group nearby who have been harassing Maggie’s family, he can’t leave her unprotected—especially when he realizes he’s fallen hard for her.

As tension mounts and the menace closes in, Josiah will do anything to prove to Maggie that their love is real…but can they stay alive long enough to share it?

Maggie was shocked to feel her hand tremble when she put her fingers in Josiah Grant’s massive palm. He’d been more than nice to look at, and she’d already entertained more than one fantasy about how hot he might look out of that sharp charcoal-gray suit. But now that she was actually going to touch him, her brain felt in eminent danger of short-circuiting. How the devil would she manage if he actually kissed her? Peeled off her clothes? Thrust his hard cock—which should be large, given the size of his hands—inside her?

She’d combust on the spot.

“Sure,” she managed to murmur while seeming somewhere between cool and detached. It was her signature move.

As they reached the dance floor, the party tune faded away, replaced by Ed Sheeran crooning that he’d love the woman in his arms until he was seventy. As Josiah pulled her close and began to sway to the slow beat, she peered up at him. Her lashes fluttered, along with her heart. She sucked in a breath. God, she had to stop being such a nervous idiot. He was a man. She was a woman. This would probably be nothing more than a fling she’d enjoy the hell out of.

But looking into his eyes, she wasn’t so sure. They weren’t blue or green or brown or even hazel. They were more unusual. They were a glinting gray with a thick fringe of lashes against tanned skin. That gaze, along with the buzz of his brown hair, made him look somewhere between exotic and dangerous. And he was staring right at her, looking entirely serious.

Mercy, what was it about this man?

He swallowed like maybe she got to him, too.

“So . . .” She searched for a conversational topic to cut her nerves.

“So . . .” He smirked in return.

“You actually can dance. I’m impressed.”

He let loose a laugh. “See? I’m a lot of things, but a liar isn’t one of them.”

Josiah glided them around the floor effortlessly, turning her under his arm, reeling her in closer, then settling his hot fingertips in the middle of her bare back before he caressed his way down her spine and placed his palm close to her ass.

Lord, he felt good. Maggie tried not to imagine how his fingers would feel skimming her whole body with that soft, unhurried stroke. “Tell me . . . Were you in the service, like Cutter?”

Josiah shook his head. “CIA.”

Wow. “That sounds dangerous.”

“The mortality rate was higher than, say, for an accountant.”

“Why do I get the feeling that’s an understatement?”

He simply shrugged. Okay, he didn’t want to talk about it. Or couldn’t. She respected that.

“How long have you worked for EM Security?”

“About a year. I signed on because I wanted to learn from the best. Then a few months later, Caleb Edgington retired. Thankfully, his sons have proven anything but amateur. What about you?”

Since he’d done important things like save the world, he would laugh a million times at what she’d chosen to do with her life. At least he’d never guess. It wasn’t as if a guy like him would ever read an Azalea North novel. In fact, no one had figured her secret out yet, not even her sister.

“I’m . . . on hold right now. Shealyn has this big life to lead, and now she’s married. My grandparents are needing more help as they get older. Papa fell last week. Thankfully, he wasn’t hurt, but Granna can’t lift him. I barely can. And she can’t remember to take her medicine half the time. They’re little issues, at least right now. But they’re going to require more care in the coming years.”

“What about your mom? Can she help?”

Maggie bit back something pointless he wouldn’t understand and she’d probably regret. “She lives in Costa Rica with her husband and my ten-year-old half brother. Up until the last few months, she really hasn’t been in my life. We’re, um . . . getting to know each other.”

“You didn’t grow up with her?”

She shook her head. “Long story.”

Hopefully, he’d read between the lines. In her book, it was a closed subject. She still wasn’t entirely sure how she felt about her mom. A few conversations didn’t erase a whole childhood of resentment, but Maggie wasn’t the sort to hold on to hate. And it wasn’t as if her youth in Comfort had been terrible.

“What about your parents?” she said to fill what could become an awkward silence.

“Long story, as well.”

In other words, he had secrets he’d rather keep, too. Fine by her.

The silence she’d been trying to avoid fell between them. Surprisingly, it wasn’t awkward at all. But it was tight, full of awareness. She could feel herself yearning to be closer to him. But what blindsided her was his desire for her. It hung so thick in the air it was almost tangible. Like a blanket, it wrapped around her, warmed her from the January chill that blew in under the tent. It left her no doubt what he thought or wanted.

The song ended. Neither one of them moved, simply stared. Those wicked fingertips of his prowled their way up her bare back again, making her shiver, before gliding down in a barely there caress.

“Josiah?”

“How much longer do you have to stay at the reception?”

Half dazed, she scanned the room. Her sister was wrapped in her husband’s arms on the opposite corner of the dance floor. Granna and Papa had already retired. Brea, bless her, had finally managed to calm her stomach enough to enjoy the festivities. The rest of the guests had either left or kicked off their shoes, started their third drink, and gotten ready to party.

“Not another minute. Are you planning to take me to bed?”

He cupped her cheek, looking like he wanted to kiss her. Instead, he backed away, teeth gritted in restraint—for now. She had a feeling that moderation wouldn’t last.

Josiah took her hand. “Yes, I am.”

Title: Work Violation
Series: Cook County #2
Author: BJ Harvey
Genre: Romantic Comedy
Release Date: July 31, 2019

Ronnie Nelson likes to be chased.

Jaxon Cook loves a challenge.
Ronnie wants a man who pulls out all the stops.
Jax doesn’t stop until he gets what he wants.
Seems like a match made in heaven. Until an unexpected development—of the ‘call me Professor Cook’ variety—makes their attraction a lot more forbidden.
Now, committing a work violation has become a forgone conclusion and the chase just became a lot more complicated.
Lucky for Ronnie, Jax loves breaking the rules.
Lucky for Jax, Ronnie does too.

Having entered his address into my car’s GPS, what I don’t expect to pull up to is a giant Barbie-pink monstrosity that looks like a wonky castle—a wonky, seen-better-days eyesore that should be leveled instead of flipped.

I’ve been to each of the houses Jamie and his brothers have worked on so far and none of them ever came close to being this rundown before they were renovated. I knew Jax was living in the “pink house,” as it was slated by Jamie and April, but I didn’t know it was this bad.

Putting my Prius in park, I look out my window and take a minute to try and see whatever potential the guys must’ve conjured up when they bought this place.

The trim is pink, the porch is pink, the damn door is fuchsia and the turrets—yes, it even has two freaking towers on either side—are too-much-sun-in-summer pink. It’s so bright and garish it’s giving me flashbacks of my childhood when my mom would make Gilly and I wear matching froufrou dresses to church every Sunday, the kind that would enter the building before we did.

My perusal is interrupted when my phone vibrates on the passenger seat.

Jax – Are you going to sit out there and admire Her Majesty or come inside and get a private tour?Ronnie – I’m too scared to come any closer in case Barbie and her merry minions hold me captive and roll me in pink glitter.

Jax – Now, now, don’t besmirch the house without seeing her in all her grand, blushing beauty.

Ronnie – She’s blushing alright, with embarrassment. Barbie called, she wants her Dream House back.

Jax – Barbie is too busy getting porked by Ken. She’s moved on to a beach house in Malibu, playing happy polygamy with Ken and his transgender lover, Kendra.

Ronnie – You seem to know a lot about Barbie

Jax – Just get your ass out of that prissy Prius and come inside.

Ronnie – If I start turning blond and saying like in every sentence, promise you’ll take me out the back and put me out of my misery.

Jax – Veronica . . .

Ronnie – Yeah, yeah. I’m coming, Ken.

Jax – Fucking finally, Barbie.

Ronnie – Call me that again and you’ll start sounding like my prissy Prius.

I grab my purse and get out of the car, locking it behind me and walking through—you guessed it—the pink picket-fence gate toward the front door. He appears just as I step onto the porch.

“Did you find the place okay?” he says with a grin.

“NASA called, said I couldn’t miss the massive pink pimple called your house.”

Blurb:
Love is honorable but selfish. Love is a record of my wrongs.
Love had fractured in trials but held on for the truth.

And the truth was he’d hurt me, yet I loved him.
He’d left me, yet I followed him.

But I was done with Léo Baudin.
And as soon as the semester was over, I would be done with Paris.

But until then, I would learn the rest of his secrets.
The ones they whispered about behind his back. The ones that had the entire city watching his every move. The ones that held him hostage.

But to know his secrets meant to know him. And to know him was to fall further for the man who’d already hurt me so much.

I hated him for breaking my heart, but I should’ve learned by now that the things we loathe become the things we love.

And just when I thought there was nothing left to keep us apart, the ghosts of his past came back to life with a truth neither of us could’ve expected.

And lies that neither of us could’ve imagined.

As each layer unraveled, the choice between power and wisdom and love grew greater. And the consequences of our decision would be the judgment of this city.

But when all else fails, love always hopes.
Against all odds, love always perseveres.

The Judgment of Paris is the second book in the Odyssey Duet.

Excerpt:
“So, you don’t want this?” he pushed, his hand now gently cupping me. He was watching it—watching it squeeze the soft flesh and thumb over my nipple. He watched it like his hand didn’t belong to him, like after this moment he’d cut it from his body for betraying him. “You don’t want me to fuck you on this desk right now?”

“No,” I insisted, even as I pushed against his palm.

“Menteuse. I bet your little body has been begging for me. I bet that pussy of yours is soaked and clenching, desperate to be stretched and ripped by my cock. I bet your body wants to swallow me whole, right now.”

“I bet yours wants the same,” I shot back breathlessly. It was as close to admitting to it as I was going to get.

His thumb grazed along the edge of my tank, tracing the soft skin of my chest like he was teetering on a precipice of what was going to happen right now.

I wanted him to choose me.

I wanted him to need me.

But he never did.

“I don’t need your body, Miss Milanovic.” His hand dropped to the desk between us and his face drifted farther from mine. “If I did, I wouldn’t have left.”

I shriveled up and died. Right there. In the middle of the classroom, in the middle of Paris, and in the middle of everything that my life could have been.

 Review

Troy and Leo were a couple that shouldn’t have happened as he was her Professor and she was his student, but some things are too powerful to deny, and this was the situation when it came to the love between them.

When Leo escaped what was about to become a media storm after their relationship was disclosed, he left a devastated Troy behind and returned to Paris. Fate had other plans for them as when Troy is offered an opportunity to study at the same school where Leo is teaching she believes it will either be their second chance, or it will give her the answers she so desperately needs about the man she loves.

When all is said and done, they must either go their separate ways and leave what they had together in the past or prove that their love is worth standing up for.

This story takes you on emotional journey filled with so much angst that your heart breaks for Troy and Leo but the chemistry and connection between them is unparalleled and it is a fitting conclusion to this duet.

Just Love by Prescott Lane

Release Date: July 9, 2019

Just Love Cover.jpeg

Just Love, an all-new standalone contemporary romance by Prescott Lane.

There’s two sides to every love story. The how you fell in love, and the how you fell apart.

This is ours.

The cardinal rule of friendship is you don’t mess with your friend’s sister.

That goes double when she’s his little sister.

It was just supposed to be fun.

She wasn’t supposed to end up being the love of my life.

And I definitely wasn’t supposed to break her heart.

Ainsley is a wedding dress designer. That should’ve been a warning that she’s a hopeless romantic. That should’ve clued me in that she believes love conquers all.

But there are some things that love can’t fix. I’m one of them.

She thinks love is the answer.

But love is the reason I let her go.

A stand-alone, contemporary romance.

Blog Tour Teaser.jpg

Excerpt:

I knew the kind of guy Rhett was. I knew serious wasn’t his thing. I knew using the word love usually sent him running for the hills. I knew it, and I did it anyway.

But he wasn’t that guy with me. He and I were different. I know he loved me.

I’ve loved that man since I was fifteen years old. How could I not? Forget the abs, the tan skin, those pale, sexy blue eyes. Forget the fact that his voice sends shivers down my spine. The first time we kissed, I felt my whole world shatter and fall into place at the same time.

I tried to pretend to be “that” girl. The kind that can kiss a guy just for fun, screw a man and not imagine a life with him. I tried. I failed. The hopeless romantic in me wasn’t having it.

My heart should’ve known better — but my heart was no match for Rhett Bennett.

When Rhett and I fell apart, I broke up with social media. I have to say, that breakup was a lot easier. No hashtags, no emojis, no memes to post. Some people use social media as their therapist. I’ve seen people post play-by-plays of their divorce, or explain every detail of their latest illness or drama. I probably could’ve attracted a lot more followers if I chronicled the demise of our relationship. It’s the stuff of soap operas.

But instead, I broke it off with Facebook, banned Instagram, and boycotted Twitter.

Today, Facebook and I are having one last romp. Relationship status update: Single.

That’s it. That one little change. I have to start somewhere. Skye’s right about that.

The one part of being single I have embraced is the diet. The single woman diet consists of basically any breakfast food for dinner, coffee, and alcohol. I’ve gotten so good at it, I no longer need a grocery cart when I shop. Quick tip, don’t get a cart at the grocery store, only buy what you can hold. It’s good for the budget and the waistline. Unfortunately, that rule doesn’t work so well at clothing stores.

Review

When Ainsley’s parents passed away when she was 15 it was her brother Brody, his girlfriend Skye and his best friend Rhett that became her support system as she endured her teenage years and ventured into becoming an adult. She has now finished college and moved back home and is living in the same apartment building as Rhett who she has always secretly crushed on.

Rhett knows that Ainsley is off limits, but she should have come with a warning label. She is no longer the teenager that left to go to college and the feelings he has for her are from brotherly. The chemistry between them ignites but they both agree it is going to be casual and a secret as if her brother found out the waterfall effect could not only cost him his friendship but his business as well.

These two couldn’t be more different when it comes to love as Rhett doesn’t believe in it while Ainsley designs wedding dresses, so happy ever after is her dream. This story has all the feels as everything self-destructs around them, and if they are going to find their way back to each other there is a lot of pain and anguish that must be felt first.

What a beautiful and emotional journey this story leads us on! The characters draw you in and won’t let you go and with every page you turn you keep hoping that they can find their way out of the mess that they find themselves in. Grab a chair, cozy up but whatever you do make you sure you read this story.

Title: Game Changer
Series: Change of Hearts Series Book One
Author: Sierra Hill
Genre: Single Daddy/Nanny Sports Romance
Release Date: July 25, 2019
Up until two years ago, I was living large and my life’s priorities were anchored to three things – my NBA stardom, money and celebrity.

I was also a dick.

Until one night turned my world upside down and I suffered unspeakable loss. That event changed the man I was and made me a widowed-single father.

Now I’m a desperate parent trying to raise my special needs son and find him a trustworthy live-in nanny.

Grad student Brooklyn Hayes may be the one, with her single-minded focus on caring for my son and finishing her Master’s degree. She’s the perfect fit for our needs.

Maybe too perfect…with her bright smile, nurturing kindness and gentle touch. Caleb isn’t the only one who’s fallen for her.

I don’t know when or how it happened, but she changed the game for me. Turning my losing streak into a winning second-half.

“So, tell me about the elusive Coach Garrett Parker. Is he as hot up-close-and-personal as he is down on the basketball court sidelines?” She sighs dreamily, a faraway look in her eyes. “He is so hot in that gray suit. And that scowl of concentration across his face? Oooh, makes me wonder if he wears the same expression when he fucks.”

She turns over onto her back and laughs huskily, toying with my shirt in her hands.

Honestly since attending the senior night basketball home game together this past March, all Peyton could talk about the entire game was how handsome the Associate Head Coach was, and how much she loved a man who hid all their assets under a well-tailored suit. While I agreed with her assessment at the time, noting that he did look very handsome, I was more into the game happening on the court to be gawking at the sidelines.

There is no doubt that Coach Parker wears that suit of his quite well. But now that I’ve seen him in person, wearing nothing but a T-shirt and track pants that showed off his toned, muscular frame, I’d say that is much more appealing to me.

And even more appealing? Those few minutes in his kitchen when he was bare-chested. Holy hell, I nearly tripped over my tongue and my own feet at the sight of his impressive torso and defined ab muscles that screamed, “Hey ladies, this ain’t your typical dad-bod.”

So yeah, I can understand Peyton’s attraction to Coach Parker, even if it’s absolutely, one-hundred percent off-limits and nothing I can do about it now that I’m his employee. I take my job seriously and am a professional. My focus needs to be on my career and fulfilling my obligations, not getting involved with a hot sexy single dad.

Plus, he most likely has a girlfriend. No man that good-looking would be without female attention.

“Listen, get that shit out of your head right now. Coach is my new boss and I can’t have you all googly-eyed over him. Otherwise, you’re never getting an invite to visit me.”

She blows a raspberry between her lips and I snatch the T-shirt out of her hands with a growl, placing it in the second open suitcase at the end of the bed.

“Come on, Brooklyn,” she hums breathlessly. “Just admit it one time. You think he’s hot, don’t you? And if you didn’t work for him, he’d be exactly your type. Tall, smart jock, even a little broody.”

She gives me a haughty wink, which I respond to with an overly-dramatized sigh.

“Sure, fine. Whatever. If things were different and I just met him like at a bar or a party somewhere, yeah. I wouldn’t hesitate. But that’s not how this is. So, you can just scrub those thoughts right out of your sex-crazed, overactive imagination and help me figure out what else I need to bring with me.”

Peyton jumps off the bed and rushes to my open chest of drawers, whipping out all my thongs and sexy, non-sports bra essentials. She dangles a lacy-white bralette in the air and whistles.

“This…you definitely need this one.”

I grunt with annoyance. “No, I definitely do not. I need to be comfortable because this job will be very physical and will require me to get down on my hands and knees a lot.”

Wrong thing to say.
Peyton tilts her head and pops her hip to the side, twirling the lacy bra in her fingers.

“Exactly my point. We’ve all heard the stories about daddies falling for their nannies. It’s so classic. Jude Law. Rob Lowe. Gavin Rossdale. Men just can’t help themselves when a hot young thing is under their roof. It’s just man vs. nature.”

“Stop with the clichés, Peyton. I mean it. You’re making my job sound sordid and sleazy. You know I’m not like that. I’m not becoming a nanny to land a rich guy. And Garrett is dealing with some pretty big life shit. I mean, his wife died and he’s raising his disabled son on his own. I can tell you one thing for certain, and that’s that Coach Parker is not looking to hop into bed with a nanny and complicate his life any further.”

Peyton remains silent, her only non-verbal response is through the lift of her eyebrows and tightly pursed lips. A look that says, “Yeah, right.”

Blurb:
Growing up in True, Alaska, the only truth I knew was that Delilah Campbell was an arrogant pain in my ass. She was also my everything, and still haunts my every waking moment.
I don’t have a single memory that doesn’t include Lie, and I can still taste her, even though Alaska’s no longer big enough for the both of us. After our savage breakup, I fled, chasing my dream and becoming a decorated Green Beret. Ten years later, one bad jump propelled me straight from Special Forces back home, guiding rich idiots into the wilderness, where I struggle to keep them from getting themselves killed. It’s not the life I planned, but at least I’m not behind a desk somewhere.
Then one night, my cell rings, shattering my peaceful existence.
“Connor,” I’d recognize her voice anywhere, and it’s like I’m sixteen again, crazy in love and cocky as hell after finding all those gold bars everyone’s been searching for since before we were even born.
I want to tell her to go to hell and throw my phone in the river, but it seems Delilah’s visceral grip on me is permanent.
“It’s mom. She’s missing. I need your help….”

Still most at home while entertaining an audience, her mission is to write gripping fiction, not fairy tales.

“This is new.” I reach out to brush her tiny strap aside for a better look at the ink. The tattoo is an antique compass rose, the figure that displays the orientation of the cardinal directions on old maps. The design is actually really nice; a couple of roses and some leaves give the outer circle a wreath-like quality.
“Not really. I got it a long time ago.” Her voice is husky as my fingertip glides across her silky skin. Gooseflesh appears on her upper arm, and that gives me a thrill. “When I was like…twenty… maybe twenty-one.”
She turns around, and her hip brushes against the front of my zipper. I’d say the contact made me hard, but I was halfway there watching her from outside. She looks up at me, and though she’s had to crane her neck to meet my eyes since we were in middle school, it’s always felt as if she were the one looking down on me.
“I was dating the tattoo artist. I guess you could call it ‘dating.’” Her tiny eye roll implies it wasn’t one of her finer moments.
I tilt my head, my blood pumping something fierce between my jealousy at the idea that anyone else has ever touched her and her sheer nearness in this moment. “Oh yeah?”
She nods, and a macabre smile flits across her face. “He was tall. And a major know-it-all. Totally my type.”
I feel an appreciative smile working at my lips.
“Why didn’t you marry him?” It’s a bold and weighty statement and her mouth drops open. She searches me, and for a rare, candid moment, I allow it.
“He was mean.” I see something flicker behind those liquid amber eyes.
“Sounds like a match made in heaven.” My voice is gruff, but I’m glad I spoke the truth. I’m even gladder for how solidly the blow lands, based on the way her perfect bow of a mouth turns down at the edges. In a surprising move, she lifts herself easily onto the counter so she’s sitting on it, and I struggle to keep my eyes off of her well-defined arms and that gravity-defying chest. “This doesn’t have to be ugly, Connor. Let’s have a beer. Catch up. Talk about old times.”
I say nothing, and her lips form a slanted smile. “We did have some good times, didn’t we?”
That’s for fucking sure.
I could step between her legs right now. Slip her panties aside and bury myself in her tight, wet heat. It would be as easy as breathing, and three-quarters of me is ready to take the easy route. I move to the far cabinets away from her, putting temptation at arm’s length. From there, I have an even better view, so I force myself to look away, grabbing a beer from the fridge. “No.”
“No we didn’t have good times, or no we can’t talk about them?” She sounds entertained.
I crack my beer and lock eyes with her. “We’re not talking about us.”
She’s completely unreadable now, and that puts me on edge. “Why not?”
I lean against the cabinet, sipping from my beer. “Because I’m not done being mad at you.”
She blasts an incredulous laugh and when I don’t respond in kind, her laughter dies, and she gives me another thorough once-over.
“You’re mad at me? You’ve got to be kidding.”
I tip back my can in response.
She lets out a sardonic chuckle, but she’s obviously pissed. “That’s rich.”
I wait for her to convince me that I shouldn’t hate her. She seems to be waiting on something too. Her smile, the one that isn’t really a smile at all, fades.
“You promised me, Connor. You promised we’d always be friends.” It’s nearly imperceptible, but her lip quivers. Most people wouldn’t have noticed, but most people aren’t me.
I wrinkle my brow, squinting at her in amazement. “You were very clear, Lie. You said I should never contact you again. How’d you put it? Oh, yeah. You said, ‘Have a nice life.’”
Her shining eyes narrow into dangerous slits. Then, in a classic Lilah move, she wipes her expression blank, closing the shutters, blocking out any hope of peeping inside. “Fair enough.”
I should be glad we’re on the same page. That we’re slamming the door on all of that shit. Instead, I want to roar. Frustrated, I chug my beer. By the time I’m done, she’s chewing on her bottom lip. It’s a quirk of hers that I’ve always found sexy as hell, so it’s like a metaphorical kick in the nuts.
“I’m staying in my old room.” She’s either blushing, or she’s still coming down from the crisp night air. “Take any of the other beds you like.”
My treacherous mind recalls the handful of times I snuck in her bedroom window, and I know exactly which bed I want to slip into. I hurry to grab my bag from where I’d dropped it in the entryway. I’m startled when she speaks again.
“Connor?”
“Yeah?” I turn, hopeful that I’ve finally gotten through her armor in some minute way. Maybe she’ll cry. Crying would be excellent.
“Thank you.” Her earnest eyes tug at my worn and frayed heartstrings. “For coming to help me.”
I drop my bags and stride toward her. Instead of flinching away, she leans forward in anticipation. Though we don’t touch, we still clash like two storm fronts, me dark and ominous, her all lightning and show. I’m close enough to kiss her, and she bats those long lashes, which used to be my undoing. The challenge in her smoldering gaze elicits a deep ache in my groin. I grip the counter top on either side of her thighs until my knuckles turn white.
“I’m not here for you,” I growl.

About CD Reiss

CD Reiss is a New York Times bestseller. She still has to chop wood and carry water, which was buried in the fine print. Her lawyer is working it out with God but in the meantime, if you call and she doesn’t pick up she’s at the well hauling buckets.

Born in New York City, she moved to Hollywood, California to get her master’s degree in screenwriting from USC. In case you want to know, that went nowhere but it did give her a big enough ego to write novels.

She’s frequently referred to as the Shakespeare of Smut which is flattering but hasn’t ever gotten her out of chopping that cord of wood.

If you meet her in person, you should call her Christine.
