Lydia has worked so hard and overcome so much to start a new life in Granite Harbour and leave her past behind. She is the owner of the town bookstore and the one driving force in her life is her daughter Lilly. She has her hands full with everything in her life and after her past isn’t ready to allow a man into her life
Aaron is protector whether it is the wildfire, the townspeople or the town. He has had feelings for Lydia since their first meeting however he can see she is damaged by her past and is willing to move at her pace to give her time to open her heart and trust him. He wants much more with her and now all he needs to do is convince her.
This a wonderful story that is filled with so much emotion, a beautiful romance and great secondary characters. Although I am not ready to say goodbye to Granite Harbour or its characters it certainly ended on a high note.
