Title: Checked
Series: Boston Terriers Hockey
Author: Jacob Chance
Genre: Sports Romance
Release Date: August 23, 2019
They call him ‘Wilde Man’. Rumor has it he’s an animal on the ice and between the sheets.

Like the rest of the female population, I’ve been crushing on Clancy Wilde, the captain of Boston University’s hockey team, since the first time I saw him. Big, blond, and charming, he ticks all the boxes.

When we find ourselves at a wedding, drunk and flirting, I know I can finally check this tattooed, bad boy, hockey player off my wish list.

One night is all it was meant to be, until I see two pink lines on the pregnancy test.

How did the notch on my belt turn into a ball and chain?

Clancy is the captain of the Boston Terriors hockey team who is the complete package.   He is a good friend, great teammate and has a way of making any woman swoon.    He is focused  on ensuring he follows his dream of making it in the NHL and isn’t about to be distracted by any woman until Tenley turns his life upside down.

Tenley has been best friends with his cousin and although she is attracted to him she never expected it to amount to anything.    When she  has the opportunity to spend one night with him she isn’t about to say no never expecting that two would become three.

I really enjoyed both these characters as they both handle the curveball that life has thrown at them.   Hot chemistry, witty banter and all the feels leaves you wanting the next book in this series.

  1. Hot hockey player + pregnancy trope = SOLD. It’s going on my TBR. I love books that combine these two things (even if they’re not hockey players – although hockey players are my fav! ❤ ) as it really creates an interesting complication. I love to see how characters try to work things out and get to know each other. Great review! 😀
