Lottie is a strong, independent woman who knows what she wants and isn’t shy about going after it. She has enjoyed her career as an exotic dancer but wants more from life and is tired of waiting for the right man to come into her orbit, so she is prepared to do it on her own. The only thing standing in her way is that she has attracted the attention of the wrong man.

Mo has been hired by her boss to protect her . He is a man with a painful patch who manages to get his thoughts across with very few words. From the moment they meet the chemistry and connection between them is instant and intense. His head knows he needs to keep his distance, but his heart doesn’t seem to agree.

A little suspense, a whole lotta heat and catching up with the characters we know and love makes this story a winning combination for me.

Cassandra has always been protected by those who love her and is unaware of their secrets and the harsh realities of life. From the moment that she meets Leo not only is her life about to change but she is as well.

Leo knows that he should keep his distance from Cassie, but he is drawn to her in a way that he is unable to deny. He is a man with an agenda and a connection to her family that she is not aware of which places her in danger when all he wants to do is keep her safe.

This story is full of emotion, suspense and so many twists that will take you by surprise. I liked the evolution of the characters as their story progressed. This is a great start to a new series that leaves you wanting more.
