Kit has returned to her hometown one year after she left and finds herself the prime suspect in the murder of her roommate. If that isn’t complicated enough the two people investigating the murder are Nix, a detective, and Donovan, the DA, both of whom she loves and left.
Nix and Donovan are surprised and happy that Kit is back in town even if it is under less than ideal circumstances. They have loved her for years and don’t understand why she left town a year ago but what they do know if that the time has come for them to be together, but first they must prove her innocent of murder.
Sweet, steamy and with just the right amount of suspense this is a great start to a new series.
