When she was in college Mara met Amelia and not only were they best friends but Amelia became the family that she never had. She was her support system when Mara found herself pregnant and there isn’t anything that they wouldn’t do for each other. When Mara decides to visit Amelia and meets Seth it becomes a game changer.
Seth has always had a support system and his friendship with Amelia was essentially that of siblings and is a relationship he values deeply. When Amelia introduces him to Mara and her daughter he knows that they are exactly what they didn’t know they were looking for.
