The evolution of the three characters is the aspect that really stands out in the second part of this duet. We now have an understanding of what drives James and why he is the way he is whiles Emily shows her strength and resilience and Xavier continues to make us love him more. This story takes you on a bumpy ride filled with heat, twists and a love too strong to deny. I received a complimentary copy of the audiobook and thought the narrators were a great choice and I really enjoyed how in this book each character had their own voice.
