Today bestselling author Julia Kent writes romantic comedy with an edge.
Since 2013, she has sold more than 2 million books, with 4 New York Times
bestsellers and more than 19 appearances on the USA Today bestseller list. Her
books have been translated into French and German, with more titles releasing
in 2019.From billionaires to BBWs to new adult rock stars, Julia finds a sensual, goofy
joy in every contemporary romance she writes. Unlike Shannon from Shopping for
a Billionaire, she did not meet her husband after dropping her phone in a men’s
room toilet (and he isn’t a billionaire she met in a romantic comedy).
She lives in New England with her husband and three children where she is the
only person in the household with the gene required to change empty toilet
paper rolls.
Review
In the past Fiona earned her nickname honestly and in great fashion but she is no longer that girl or at least she wasn’t until those she cared about where threatened and she went into protector mode. This incident has caused her to look at life differently and realize that she wants to find the love that her friends have and why not start with a blind date.
As a teenager all Chris wanted was a kiss from the girl he was crushing on and not to be taken down for his efforts. When he finds out his blind date is the girl he has always wanted he is determined to show her that they belong together but convincing her may be the biggest challenge of all.
Fun and flirty I really enjoyed these two together. Fletch was the perfect combination of sweet and sexy as he was determined to woo Fiona in the way that he believed she deserved while Fiona tried to resist Fletch and his charms but who could resist a man like Fletch.
