If you have read the previous books in the series than the one thing that you do know is that Pascal is the man you love to hate. He is determined to achieve his goals and he has no regard for what he has to do or who gets caught in the crossfire whether you be friend, family or foe until a woman from his past will have him questioning everything.

Not only did Gabrielle’s mother work for the Dumont but they lived there as well. At her first opportunity she left and was determined to leave the memories of what happened there behind but now she has come full circle. She is now back working for Pascal and determined to right the wrongs of the past.

What neither of them expected or were prepared for were the feelings and heat that would exist between them. He was supposed to be a means to an end and she was supposed to be another woman he loved and left but instead they found a love they never expected but for them to have a future they must first deal with the past.
