Shane is a successful music producer but the same can’t be said for her personal life. She gave her heart Jacob, who was a business competitor, but she has recently found out what a mistake she has made when she finds out he is not the man she thought he was. A night out to relive her tensions does anything but when she realizes the man she is with is Gavin, not only her employee but a man with a hidden agenda.
Both men have made choices that have left her feeling hurt and betrayed and now they both want a second chance. Will she choose the man from her past or the man in her present or will she be unable to forgive either one of them or will it be neither?
The characters are compelling as at times you will hate both Gavin and Jacob and at times they will make you swoon while Shane’s strength and resilience shines through. This is my first story by this author, but I would definitely read her future books.
