Tucker is her brother’s best friend and he has noticed the changes that Della has undergone since her brother first brought her home. I really enjoyed these two together as Tucker was supportive as he understood both the effect her past had on her life but also encouraged her need for independence and watching Della gain confidence and strength was fun to see. Not only are Della and Tucker great characters but there is a great group of secondary characters that leave us wanting more stories set in this town.

My gaze falls to her lips and my mind goes blank. “Did you not read the contract?” I bite out. “This relationship is to be purely platonic.”

Rex may have his good points which is that he is sexy, single and successful but he has a crabby and arrogant side that can be off putting to others. When his personal reputation is affecting a business deal he wants to close he needs a fake fiancée but he needs to ensure that she is someone that wouldn’t tempt him at all and that is where Tabitha enters the picture.

Tabitha is his hairdresser and his complete opposite. She is the eternal optimists who sees the good in everyone and everything, not to mention that she is also brash and quirky and not the type that Rex would be attracted to at all.
Pretending to be together is a test in patience for both of them but doing it in a location where they can’t get away from each other makes it even that much more fun. As they spend time together they may just realize the only people they are fooling is themselves.

What a fun story this turned out to be. Two very different people find themselves on a collision course that is filled with heat, humor and heart.
