Rian is studious as evidenced by her career writing math textbooks and baking is her way of relaxing and showing other people that she cares for them. She is more inclined to sit back rather than take charge and that is why she has never told her friend Dylan how she really feels about him.
Dylan has overcome his childhood and is the owner of a tattoo shop. When he finds out that Jax, his ex-best friend, is becoming Rian’s roommate all his protective instincts come to the forefront as he decides to move in as well.

Things are about to get complicated when Jax makes his intentions when it comes to Rian clear and Dylan must decide if he is willing to stand by and watch Rian and Jax get closer or finally acknowledge how he has always felt about her?

These two couldn’t be more different for each other or more perfect for each other. Rian helps Dylan heal from his past while he shows her that she needs to follow her own dreams and not the dreams that other people have for her. Their chemistry is intense, their interactions humorous and it was fun to catch up with the other characters we know and love as well.
