Butcher is a member of another club and he has a painful past. From the first time he met Shayla he was drawn to her, one could almost call it an obsession, and he is determined to keep her safe. He was content to stand on the sidelines but that doesn’t hold true any longer and he is ready to claim the woman who has stolen his heart.
Shayla’s determination and grit is a perfect match for the alpha protector in Butcher. Their interactions are humorous yet hot and the suspense added another layer to the story. I am enjoying this series and this story is no exception.
