Kingston is a natural protector as evidenced by his career as a firefighter/smoke jumper and when it comes to his relationships with his family. He doesn’t remember a time that he didn’t love his childhood best friend Stella, but when she chose his best friend he always wondered what if and now that she is back in town he isn’t about to make the same mistake twice.
After studying to be a doctor, Stella has now returned to her hometown to be close to her family. She knows that she needs to tell Kingston that she is back in town but finding out he is a patient was a shock to both of them.
