When it comes to his family Leo has been content to stand by and watch rather than get involved in their exuberance activities. He takes in everything that is going on and prefers to think before reacting but when he loves he loves deeply. From the first summer that he met Mia he knew she was special, and she touched him in a way that he had never felt before or would ever feel again.

Due to her past Mia has self-confidence issues and has never felt like she was enough. Estranged from her parents even though she had her grandfather and her best friend Holden the emotional scars still remained. With Leo she felt a kinship like she had never felt before but when she needed him the most she couldn’t have felt more alone.

Their relationship spans over a decade and they had a couple of starts and stops on the way as they both made choices that hurt each other. Finding their way back to each other will not only break your heart but inspire you as well when you realize that everything they have gone through has only ensured that they realize how special their love for each other is and how far they are willing to go to protect it.
