Knight is a man with a dark past who has brought a lot of evil people to justice which has made him a target.    He was willing to accept the risk for himself but when they abducted his wife Kate that is proving more than he can handle.    He will do anything to ensure that she returns safely and then he will do what he should have done in the beginning and that is to put some distance between him and his family for their protection.   It seems like the perfect plan, but he may just find out that distance may put his family in more danger than if he was there to protect them.

What an amazing conclusion to a wonderful series.     It has all the suspense, humor and heat that you would expect but it is the great characters and their relationships with each other that make this story and series so memorable.
