Reagan is a lawyer who is a force to be reckoned with inside of the courtroom however when it comes to her personal life she is still trying to heal from the damage that her ex inflicted on her during their marriage. Her landlord happens to not only be her brother’s best friend but her new client as well.

Cal has turned his career in the Navy to that of a bounty hunter but when he finds himself accused of being on the wrong side of the law there is no one else he wants defending him except for Reagan. They are drawn to each other that although unexpected neither is prepared to walk away from but first they must deal with both their pasts.

This story takes us on quite a ride filled with intrigue, heat, surprises and emotion as Reagan and Cal search for the happy ever after they both deserve.
