“Last time I saw you, we didn’t leave it on the best terms…”
“A bit of an understatement, I’d say.”
“Yeah well. Someone told me that the best part about fighting was the makeup sex.”
“Oh.”
“Yeah. But we don’t do that.”
“No, we don’t.” Although right now I was second guessing why the hell not. He was fucking adorable when he was nervous, and it wasn’t a side of him I saw very often.
“But I didn’t think you should miss out, so…yeah. Batteries.”
It took a second but then it hit me like a freight train. “You bought me batteries for my vibrator?”
I laughed.
I laughed so hard I snorted. And possibly peed a little bit.
Rebecca is a clumsy, introverted, bubble bath loving,
chocoholic who’d rather read a book than go shopping. And don’t even mention
shoe shopping!
Rebecca is a lucky girl – one of four kids to school teacher parents. Wife to a
football obsessed husband. Mother to a fur-baby who has no idea how big he is.
Aunt to the most crazy/adorable little girls. And sister to two very determined
sisters and one easy going brother.
Rebecca lives in Canberra Australia and spends way too many hours a day working
the day job.
She is a book whore who can easily (and happily) read a book from start to
finish in one sitting and spends her spare time writing.
Hunter is a force to be reckoned with both on and off the field. Although he wants something deeper than the casual relationship that he and Sienna share he is willing to be patient and show her that they are meant to be together until fate decides they have other plans for them.
Sienna is feisty, fiery and believes that the status quo when it come to their relationship is all they are destined to have. When she receives news that is going to going to change both their lives will Hunter be able to convince her that he doesn’t want a fling but rather he wants forever with her?
Hunter’s determination to win Sienna’s heart is enough to make you swoon. Not only did I enjoy Hunter and Sienna together but there is a great cast of secondary characters that enhance the story.
