When she was a teenager Sierra began exchanging letters with Malachi, a solider who was serving overseas, and what started out as an obligation turned into a friendship. When the letters ended she was devastated as she knew he wouldnāt stop corresponding without a reason but she was even more surprised when the letters began a few years later.
Malachiās experiences have left him emotionally scarred as even though he started a new life and has found a supportive group of friends and is working for SWAT the memories of what he has seen and done still haunt him. She was the one person who gave him the strength to survive so when their paths cross he knows that she is his destiny.
Sierra and Malachi are exactly what the other needs in their life as even though their journey wasnāt without its obstacles the support and strength that they give each other that shows both them and us that the only place they belong is with each other.
