Instead of being protected by those that are closest to Claire the opposite happened and Lucca was the one who came to her rescue when she was a child even though he was more Black Knight than Prince Charming. She is conflicted by her feelings for Lucca but when she finds herself in danger it will cause a shift in their relationship that will change everything.
Lucca lives his live on the dark side so since that fateful night he has ensured to keep his distance to protect her from him. When she becomes collateral damage there is nothing he won’t do to keep her safe and finally claim her as his.
