To anyone on the outside looking on Eden appears to be living a life that others only dream of. After the death of her grandfather, she finds herself as heir to the Boston Titans, the hockey team he owned, however not everyone is happy with the outcome. To further complicate the situation her ex is one of the players on the team and the man assigned to protect her is the man she spent one night with years earlier that both still remember in vivid detail.
Holt was enchanted by Eden when they first met in college and although he wanted more than one night it wasn’t meant to be. The security company he owns has been hired to protect Eden and he soon realizes that the feelings he had for her haven’t diminished over time.
