Shane was drawn to Ivie from their first meeting, but his intentions are to have a little fun and keep things casual. He doesn’t believe that love or relationships are a good fit either with his family or his career so letting someone too close could have consequences. When he found out that Ivie was abducted it changed everything and now he is determined to not only rescue her but keep her as well.
There are many facets to Ivie’s personality as her past has forced her to be strong, but it has also affected her view of herself. She thought she had escaped her past and created a life she was happy with only to have it all come crashing down and being rescued by Shane takes away the immediate threat, but the danger still remains.
The characters are unique, the chemistry intense, intrigue that keeps you guessing, and it is always great to catch up with the other characters we know and love.
