Release Date: April 6
Now that Chelsea has finished college she has moved back to her hometown and ready to begin the next phase of her life as a nurse. She didn’t expect that all her training would be put to the test so quickly when Mayson, her brother’s best friend, came to the door seriously injured and needing help.
Mayson thought that he had escaped his violent past when he joined the military. When he is on leave, he returns to his hometown but leads a solitary life that he allows very few people to breach. While Chelsea helps him recover her family searches for the man responsible, but the threat is far from over and if they aren’t careful, she might just be caught in the crossfire.
Both Chelsea and Mayson have had feelings for each other for a while, but circumstances never allowed them to pursue what they could have together. That decision is now out of their hands and although Mayson wants to keep her safe by keeping his distance, she is determined to show him that the only place she belongs is with him. So much emotion, hot chemistry, great characters and a suspenseful storyline will keep you entertained from beginning to end.
When her nose isn’t buried in a book, or her fingers flying across a keyboard writing, she’s in the kitchen creating gourmet meals. You can find her, in four inch heels no less, in the car chauffeuring kids, or possibly with her husband scheduling his business trips. It’s a good thing her characters do what she says, because even her Labrador doesn’t listen to her…
