Beau has been waiting not so patiently for his turn to complete the trials so that he can not only take his rightful place in the Order but in the family business as well. He is strong, determined and used to having his every demand followed and thought that when it came to the Belle he had chosen that this situation will be no different, but think again.
Connie has learnt from a young age that the only person she can count on is herself and that lesson has been reinforced more than once. She and Beau have a past even if he doesn’t remember it and she plans on using what she knows to her advantage. Once he chooses her as his Belle, she will show him that she is not meek and mild but rather that no one or nothing will stand in her way.
