Tilly has returned to England to be there for her brother Mac and his wife Freya as she approaches the end of her pregnancy. It has been five years since she left trying to put as much distance between her and the events that transpired and she is not longer the same person who left. She would rather not reconnect with Santino who was there at the most difficult time of her life, but fate had other ideas.

Santino is a sports lawyer who has a well deserved reputation with the ladies. He is no longer looking for a good time but sometime to spend his life with however he is beginning to wonder if that will ever happen. Now that Tilly is back in his life, he believes that she is his future but that means opening his heart and his past to her which may be the biggest challenge of all. The dual narration enhanced the story’s enjoyment and the narrators were a perfect choice for the characters.

Witty banter, hot chemistry and so much emotion as Tilly and Santino battle for the second chance they both deserve as they find what had been missing in their lives from each other.
