He’d hated me first, so I figured it was only fair I hate the stupid, sexy jerk back.
After ending the world’s worst relationship, Marin Grey had sworn off men. So it was rather inconvenient that she couldn’t seem to keep her eyes and thoughts off the Ice King himself, Pierce Walton—also known as her ex-boyfriend’s older, much hotter brother.
He was cold, callous, and rude. He was also the most gorgeous man she’d ever laid eyes on, which made the fact that he’d hated her from first sight all the more unfair.
When circumstances dictate they put their swords away so Marin can help Pierce take care of his son, that ice-cold hate suddenly takes a turn into something much hotter. And if they aren’t careful, they could both be burned alive.
**Whiskey Dolls is a brand-new series of interconnected, standalone, small town romances.**

After all the events that transpired in her last relationship Marin isn’t ready for love as she doesn’t trust her judgment when it comes to men. She is taking some time for herself and that starts with a well needed cooking class but getting paired up with cold and grumpy brother of her ex wasn’t part of the plan.
Pierce has loved and lost and since then he has closed his heart to everyone except for his son Eli. He doesn’t want to be attracted to Marin, but she is there for them when they need someone the most. It doesn’t take long for Marin and Eli to become close but will Marin and Pierce open their hearts to the possibilities of what they could have together or is the pain from their pasts too much to overcome?
Pierce and Marin have both experienced devastating pasts for very different reasons. They give each other everything they need and more as she shows him how to live and he shows her what love can really be like with the right man.
Born and raised around Houston Texas, Jessica spent most of her life complaining about the heat, humidity, and all around pain in the ass weather. It was only as an adult that she quickly realized the cost of living in Houston made up for not being able to breathe when she stepped outside. That’s why God created central air, after all.
Jessica is the mother of a perfect little boy–she refuses to accept that he inherited her attitude and sarcastic nature no matter what her husband says.
In addition to being a wife and mom, she’s also a wino, a coffee addict, and an avid lover of all types of books–romances still being her all time favs. Her husband likes to claim that reading is her obsession but she just says it’s a passion…there’s a difference. Not that she’d expect a boy to understand.
Jessica has been writing since she was a little girl, but thankfully grew out of drawing her own pictures for her stories before ever publishing her first book. Because an artist she is not.
